CCCRD is a non-profit corporation located in Wilmington, OH.

 

CCCRD Mission Statement:

To promote, foster, and encourage, through education, research and the preparation and distribution of information, the prudent and responsible development of the land and infrastructure of Clinton County; to advocate responsible development alternatives; to create and maintain a compact, representative, and centralized agency for concerted action upon all matters affecting the welfare and betterment of the people of Clinton County, to promote, foster, and encourage the interest of the people of Clinton County in good government; to compile, distribute, and disseminate information as to civic, county, state, and governmental matters; to prepare, compile, select, distribute, and disseminate data and information of all kinds that may be useful in furthering the purposes of this corporation.

Citizens' rights are being ignored!

The CCCRD is not just about the Wilmington bypass.  CCCRD is a non-profit organization working on your behalf.  CCCRD is about responsible development of your city and county and about protecting the due process of law.

IT'S NOT A DONE DEAL!

Despite what you have seen in the paper or been told by our elected officials, the proposed location of the bypass is not a done deal.

 

CCCRD Structure / Activity:

CCCRD is managed and staffed by an energetic, dynamic core group.  The consists of the CCCRD Board of Directors, the CCCRD officers, and a Steering Committee:

Activities include:

Planning / action meetings on a regular basis.

Retained the services of professional legal counsel.

Numerous hours researching local government records, ODOT records (at district and state levels).

Ongoing technical research, data collection, surveys, and analysis.

Numerous letters written; numerous documents and presentations prepared.

Scheduled and attended meetings with: Clinton County Commissioners; Clinton County Regional Planning Commission; Clinton County Engineer; Wilmington City Mayor; ODOT Central Office and ODOT District 8, Hans Jindal, Environmental & Planning Engineer;  Woolpert (contract highway engineering firm); and State Congressional Members.

NOTE:  THE PROFESSIONAL LEGAL COUNSEL IS PAID.  ALL OTHER ACTIVITIES HAVE BEEN AND ARE ACCOMPLISHED THROUGH THE VOLUNTEER EFFORTS OF THE CCCRD STEERING COMMITTE MEMBERS.   MORE THAT 800 (eight hundred) VOLUNTEER HOURS HAVE BEEN DONATED OVER THE LAST 14 (fourteen) MONTHS !
